Profile: Yuh Chen was born in Taiwan. Her paintings are constructed with layered grids of color that create a network of complex compositions referencing natural forms and systems of growth. She received her B.F.A. at California State University of Long Beach in 2012. She earned a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Fine Art at Maryland Institute College of Art in 2014. She currently attends the Tyler School of Art for her M.F.A. and is expected to graduate in 2016. Her work can be viewed at yuhchenfineart.com.
